cheap airline ticket from London Heathrow to Delhi on Christmas?

Hello, I hope anyone can advice some useful information about airfares. I was planning to travel from London to Delhi heahtrow at Christmas: the dep December 22, 2009 and return on January 17 I am looking for a direct flight. But i cannot seem to find good prices for different airlines. All rates are around 800 pounds is one and half times the normal hourly rates. Is there anyone any ideas about the airline or the discounting of the awards, the airline way you do it? And as the travel date approaches, prices are likely to can rise or fall as well?.
