Tiger Stalkerâ € ™ s € | Bob Smiley, the â € € œfollow Roar - Book Review
What do you call someone who follows you to work every day and watch everything you do? Under normal circumstances, that would be a stalker. In this case, his name is Bob Smiley, the author further the noise and he is not a stalker. Smiley came up with the idea of following Tiger Woods for every hole of every tournament in 2008.
Â
Not that Smiley had many options to choose before starting its long season of work. As he explains, was a writer working out many perspectives. It occurred Woods followed the idea so you can try to improve their own golf game. Well, he may or may not have been successful, but he could not have planned better. Smiley was front and center of one of the most memorable seasons in golf history. Timing is everything sometimes, and happened to Smiley Choose the right time to watch the best player world.
Â
Tiger Woods and all the players on the PGA Tour are followed by hundreds of reporters and journalists every week play. The difference between them and Bob Smiley was that they were legitimate members of the press. Bob was not. He had no credentials or press passes. He was a fan. Like all the thousands of ticket purchase Joeâ € ™ s regular behind the ropes. He had no special access or parking pass, or free food or air conditioning shop Media campaign to operate. Smiley was stuck in the pack with real golf fans. It is from this perspective Smiley tells his story and that's what makes this fun book.
Â
Originally, Smiley planned to go all season and it would have cost money that did not have. Of course, had a wife very understanding. It was decided that this had the potential to be a successful business for him, but even he could have seen the dramatic climax Tiger € ™ s going to take years.
Â
If you live on planet earth you know how Tiger € ™ s the season ended. So is not much suspense here. The joy in this book comes from Smiley € ™ s journey. He traveled a lot done but its not entertain your travel miles. Characters he knew and the friends he made along the way are interesting and entertaining.
Â
Smiley began this journey, but nothing a fan of Tiger Woods. He says he really hated to Tigre and the root of it every week. Smiley was finally won by Tiger € ™ s talent, determination and courage. He is like Many who witnessed this season. All were amazed at how Woods finished the season with the U.S. Open wins in the midst of a leg. Smiley € ™ s account of this wild season makes you feel like you're there for each shot, standing behind the ropes with all those who became fans of the Tiger.
