What are the legalities in the sale of a video and still photos of a celebrity in a public event?

I was at a golf tournament, and within three days of practice, are allowed to take videos, take pictures and get autographs. So I guess I upload my video and make movies for sale on eBay. Is this correct? It is especially Michael Jordan. Flatstick, I think some people just naturally have a mean streak how they say things matter what. If I thought I had posted the question. Since it was at a public event I thought it might be like the person (very good advice) before you have expressed your opinion.

As a photographer I can say this. This is a public figure, who took the picture ... you have the rights to the pictures. Just as works of art ... the photos are yours. Nobody said "you can not take this." So are yours. Look people, etc. selling autographs online papparazzi all the time. Do you think Lindsay Lohan released a statement to all photos in the U.S. last week week, and Paris Hilton not for people ... example. No. .... however, the sale a picture like that could be difficult. Good luck
