My husband is in the "love" with coffee. So for his birthday, I bought this French press. He loves the French press. He says he makes the best cup Coffee has had. I occasionally drink coffee and completely agree with him. There is no need to spend more than $ 100 for a drip coffee maker, when you can have the best with the French press. The flavor is milder and less bitter. Just try. You will need a little patience as you wait a little more, but worth the wait. The quality is there and you can order replacement parts if necessary. Hessitate not try this if you want the best cup of coffee have ever had.

Bodum Starbucks bought my last two years and just moved to use it and "It's like going to Starbucks" without having to pay a small fortune.

I am proud find frugal ways to live richly. This French-language press is one of them. If Starbucks coffee blows with his mouth open, but not about spending your hard money livestock, buy a nice mix of them and tell them you have a French coffee press and the need to grind coarse grains. That is, if you do not have a grinder. For the money you save with the French press, you can pay a mill and a cool bag or two of coffee imported.

My husband loves coffee made in a French press and he is very impressed with the press 51 oz buy. He had wanted a larger press and it fits perfectly. Easy to use, easy to clean. All you add is a mark of some kind to indicate that the rack from tipping. We had "Spin" around the top a little at first, to locate it. This is a feature our old press was not.

Finally ... after 10 years!

In 1999, I traveled to Jamaica on vacation For the first time experienced the Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee. It is by far the best coffee in the world (my boyfriend disagrees Colombian, I'm sure). Since I brought 3 pounds of Jamaican Blue sweet home with me from a street vendor in Ocho Rios, I've been trying to play this cup of the same quality in the house which I enjoyed the breakfast each morning, before switching to mudslides and double whiskey (ha!). I did not succeed ... until now!

I purchased this Bodum French press last week Amazon and tried for the first time this weekend with a new bag of beans I bought in Jamaica blue zip-lock bag of an individual in a food store here carribben T-town. Much cheaper than coffee clubs, but much more expensive to buy in Jamaica. Let me tell you, I was happy with the results. You can not "filter" Jamaican coffee (or ANY coffee anymore) through a drip maker. So I could not do well all this time. It filters all the oil, and all coffee and it leaves a brown water ... at best. Never use a drip coffee maker again. Gross. That just gave me Makete Gevalia drip because my mother is so week said the Bodum cup was too strong for her. It's just me and my Bodum hereafter.

It is a great little coffee maker, and makes coffee real. It's pretty well. Everyone loves him, and they all gathered around me when I was grinding my beans from Jamaica and make my first pot as you would something nobody has done before. Hahahahaha! I made 5 pots total to date, and song / Do not stop. It is really great and I recommend to everyone, if you like coffee. You never return. I had a French press for years, but have not fully embraced that is commonly used until last year or so. These little babies are fantastic ... I keep one at home, one at work, and another Travel news service floating alone with me.

I have made a lot of experimenting with ways to make a good coffee at work, as always regular coffee lounge is garbage such. I have tried Vietnamese coffee drip style, along with these Bodum presses. The drip coffee setup took too long, and was very messy, while not making a good cup of coffee.

BODUM press I have a science now. I keep an air-tight container of ground coffee my desk, next to a clean press. When I go to work in the morning, I drop some grounds in the press and the swing of the break room to fill the pot with hot water Our major manufacturer of industrial-size coffee. Make sure the water is boiling is a necessity, if not near boiling temperature ending with a pot of bad coffee. Let the coffee drink for 4-6 minutes, depending on your taste, then press and enjoy. I used to take several creams flavor in my coffee to really enjoy, so I started with a press and found it was not really tasting my coffee. Now I do not use flavored cream all and use only a touch of regular cream.

Motivation: This is the most important part of the whole equation of me. I have had good and bad luck with the options and types of ground coffee. For me, the press, usually a pound of coffee entire tooth at a time. I do this because I use a knife Ginder at home, do not really have a choice for a course grind. I find that Starbucks always going to grind their grains wrong, even when you tell them it is for a press. At all times they finely ground, and ends with coffee sludge. Now I'm only getting a coffee in a supermarket that can grind the beans myself in a self-service machine set to an option of last course. Trader Joe's is my current favorite for this, great coffee for a good price.

Beans used: Depending on your taste, or the amount of caffeine that you want, you can go a couple of ways with coffee bean options. I found that most "bold" end up being very oily when casting in a press. I like the bold when made in an automatic coffee machine drip, but the press will stop a little too bitter for my taste. That does not that are not to be his favorite. Also have not had good luck with "mixed" light in the press, as always seems to lack a good flavor. I settled to collect half of mixtures to use in my press, I have experimented with various mixes different environment and I have a favorite yet, mostly because I enjoyed them all.
