Travel to Europe. Any regulation on what can I bring?

Do the rules for luggage, as we do here in the U.S.? Moreover, I read in some of the answers are not permitted to bring aerosol cans. However, TSA's website says you can if your hairspray fair or something. What is?

I would have to check the regulations of each airline you're flying. you can not bring aerosol cans in hand luggage, but believe it can bring in your checked baggage. when I was two years ago that could bring 2 carry-ons and 1 piece of checked luggage on one flight but if he changed his plane could only take a carry out. it really varies from plane to plane.
