If the sperm dies once it airs how ......?

Have I got pregnant, we are a Turkey Baster Baby. And how is that all the work is artificial insemination, that banks know the man ejaculates sperm into a cup and then delivers it to the nurse to freeze. I am assuming sperm hit the air. Why do people persist in saying that the sperm die when they hit the air? This is one of the many things wrong with the teaching of abstinence only. Yes, I know not ... but many people in this section seem to think so. Sarcasm gurl .... you missed my sarcasm and not read the entire question.

It's just another example of the dire state of sex education in this country. Maddening. Also infuriating is that people who do not read the questions ...
