Unlike most places, Turkey has been placed in a stained box and is considered by many as a vulgar, cheap, dirty destiny shouldnâ € ™ t be touched with a barge pole. Many who have done little or no research on Turkey tend to make assumptions based on bad history that has probably heard 15 years ago. Men are generalized as slimy, greasy and unreliable, and a place has been chosen as smelly dirty and sad and is rejected by many.

That said, Turkeys tourism industry is growing and growing, and in 2008 was visited by more than 26 million tourists. As great as this sounds, when we make a comparison with Spain, a country beloved by all, which is almost one third smaller than Turkey, and received visits more than 60 million tourists in 2008, there is much room for improvement for Turkey, and we hope that in future they will.
